Today's report has no title

Creativity isn't all it's cracked up to be.

So we won another preseason match, this time our first match in the Amsterdam Tournament, 2-1 over Lazio. That makes it two in a row over Italian opposition, which is always nice. Eduardo da Silva celebrated his shiny new work permit with his first goal for Arsenal.

Liam Brady is talking up the Champions Youth Cup over on Arsenal.com. We're going to be short a few players who were eligible for the tournament including loanees Kerrea Gilbert and Matthew Connolly who are off with their new clubs, while Fran Merida, Henri Lansbury, Gavin Hoyte and Rhys Murphy will be at the U17 Championships in South Korea.

After pointing out the obvious new signings the other day in the youth ranks, we'd be remiss if we didn't also point out those released by Arsenal over the summer, including Carl Parisio and Moses Barnett. Apparently Moses is in the academy at Everton now, while Carl is...somewhere. He seems to have disappeared. Strange thing is we still have Ryan Garry on the books. I guess he's in the running to be the new Jeremie Aliadiere.

Finally, it seems Joe O'Cearuill has failed to impress and was returned to the club by Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell after a trial. I wouldn't be too upset. It is Kevin Blackwell, after all.

Why is 35C so damn hot?
