It's been a while...

The weekend just got busier and busier as it went by.

So the big news surrounds stories that are all over the media already, so you really don't need to know any more about Freddie Ljungberg signing for West Ham and Danny Fiszman insisting he is not selling his shares, despite the best attempts by "journalists" to twist every word by every person associated with the club.

As for Freddie, I'm just disappointed he's become another malcontent the minute he leaves the club.

Former youth Stephen O'Donnell is on the move and has to earn a place with Bohemians in Ireland. He's been with Falkirk in Scotland since leaving the Arsenal, but he did not receive a new deal this season.

Current young Gunner Rui Fonte may have a roommate this year. His brother, Jose Fonte, has signed for Crystal Palace on a one year loan.

And now for really obscure news. The Arsenal-HAGL academy in Vietnam has selected its first recruits to being training this September. The young boys will all receive 7 (yes, seven) years of training at the academy. Maybe we'll find a reserve player in there somewhere.

Tomorrow sees us playing an Arsenal XI against Bishop's Stortford at their ground. Word is we'll field a strong reserve/youth side, depending upon the expected roster for the Emirates Cup this coming weekend. More on that after it happens.
