The relevant move saw Matthew Connolly join Colchester United on loan for the coming season. Matthew played a few Carling Cup matches and made the bench for the final League match last season, but has not featured in the first team as yet. At this point, that's down to age and development of skills. Will he make it? He's one to watch, but also hard to judge at this point in time.

And if you really want to dig deep, former midfielder Paolo Vernazza signed for Weymouth on Monday. And Arsenal.com noticed as well! You have to have some pity for Paolo. He seemed destined for a much better career than the one he's got, but it appeared to fall apart after he fell victim to a stabbing some years ago.
