Emirates Cup this weekend

The Emirates Cup starts tomorrow and the "senior side" take on PSG at 4:15pm local time. Then it's Inter Milan and a certain Big Sausage on Sunday, again at 4:15pm local time.

As for the rest of the team, well...that Bishop's Stortford match went off this evening, and the young players came away with a 1-1 draw. The starting 11 and bench went something like (we think):

Mannone
Gilbert - Nordtveit - G. Hoyte - Steer
Ayling - Merida - Dunne - Wilshire
Simpson - Fonte

Subs: Rodgers, Agogo, Thomas, Evina, Watt

Wilshire, who we talked about earlier, scored the lone Arsenal goal. Word is the team played well, but much like the seniors could not create the final ball. At least they're learning how we do it.
