Wednesday means....Wednesday. As for Alternate Arsenal...

Quick Wednesday summary for everyone. Except that guy over there. No, the other guy.

The England U21s showed that they are definitely learning from the senior side, as they crashed out of the UEFA U21 Championships on penalties. After playing out a 1-1 draw in both regular and added time, the Dutch won the semi-final 13-12 in the shoot-out. Our Justin missed his first and scored his second. Not a bad percentage for a defender. It also means Justin finally gets a break for the summer, though for how long remains to be seen.

Also on Wednesday, Arsenal Ladies and England captain Faye White made her debut for the Ottawa Fury of the USL W-League, as they defeated the Jersey Sky Blue 3-2 in an exhibition match. White started and played the full 90 and also gave away a foul on the edge of the box which lead to the first Jersey goal from the ensuing free kick.

Yesterday Ray Parlour was linked with Barnet. Today, it's Leyton Orient and Southend. Poor Ray.

Time for bed.
