Short and sweet-there's beer to drink.

A quick update for a Friday night.

The deal for young Norwegian Håvard Nordtveit was completed today, with a figure of £2million being bandied about. Apparently the young centre back will join the post-season Asian tour.

We've also apparently named former American striker/defender Danny Karbassiyoon chief US scout. However, that comes from one of the click whore sites, and no other official reports are out yet, so we'll hopefully have official statements for you later.

Justin Hoyte played another full 90 minutes as England blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Italy at the UEFA U21 Championships. Good to see the youngin's learning to humiliate themselves as proficiently as the senior side.

That's all. Now get off my lawn.
