Some youth and some old boys are transfer targets this summer, and others have already made the move. One of the first kids to make for the exit was Giorgos Efrem, who signed a 2-year deal with Rangers. His future wasn't with us, but he did leave with the club's blessing and good words from Liam Brady. The best of luck to him.
As everyone already knows by now, midfielder Fabrice Muamba made his loan deal with Birmingham permanent before the season closed out, so not much to cover there.
Arturo Lupoli is heading home after a year on loan with Derby County. He has signed for Fiorentina of Serie A. A shame he's off, but it seems after his initial good run of form with the reserves, Niklas Bendtner took the lead and moved ahead of him in the run for a first team place. That and he just wanted to go home.
In the old boys department, Steven Sidwell made a dash for the cash as he signed for Chelsea on a free. I guess it was a good decision-if you consider getting paid a lot more to do a lot less a smart career move. The hate for him just isn't there like it was for a certain cretinous left back who enjoys mobile phones, though he did lose some respect choosing who he did.
Expect some other former players to move in the coming weeks, as a number of them have become targets for other clubs or have been released from their current club.
